1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Swim Away, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Use of the App
Swim Away is a personal wellness app that rewards you for spending time offline. You agree not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or exploit the app in any way that violates these terms or applicable law.
3. Screen Time & Family Controls
Swim Away uses Apple's Screen Time API solely to measure how long your device is offline. This data is processed entirely on-device and is never collected, stored, or shared by us.
4. In-App Purchases
Swim Away offers optional star pack purchases. All transactions are processed by Apple. All purchases are final. For support, contact us at hello@swimaway.us.
5. Intellectual Property
All artwork, music, code, and content within Swim Away are owned by PMARC. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the app without written permission.
6. Disclaimer
Swim Away is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any loss of data or damages arising from use of the app.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the app. This includes your chosen username and ocean name if you use the Friends feature.
Screen Time Data
Offline time is calculated entirely on-device using Apple's Screen Time API. This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.
Firebase
We use Google Firebase to sync friends ocean data. Only your username and fish data are stored. No personal identifying information is required or stored.
In-App Purchases
All purchases are handled by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment or billing information.
Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for data sync and WidgetKit for home screen widgets. These services have their own privacy policies.
Children's Privacy
Swim Away does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
